Q: What styles of makeup do you perform?

A: We provide all styles of makeup. Bridal & Special Event, Fantasy & Halloween, Runway, Editorial, Photo Shoots, Special Effects, Creative Design and more!

Q: Do you travel to locations, or are appointments all in-studio?

A: Our Team travels to locations AND offers in-studio appointments. For your convenience, we travel to venues, hotels, homes and studios. Our studio location is located in Howell, NJ.

Q: Do you have a minimum or maximum head count?

A: No! We happily glam any number of people.

​

Q: Do I have to bring any of my own makeup or skin care products?

A: Usually, no. Our team provides a full range of skin care and cosmetic products for all skin types, tones and shades. However, if you or someone in your party has any severe allergies or is required to use a medicated product on the face, neck or chest, we must be notified and they must supply the specific product(s) that they need to apply. If you prefer certain personal products to be used on you, we are happy to apply them for you.

Q: I still haven't found a hairstylist or other beauty professionals. Do you recommend any?

A: Yes! I provide anyone with a booked makeup appointment a list of some of my favorite trusted vendors. I have worked with all of them personally, and highly recommend their work. Ask me for a copy!​

Q: What do I need to provide?

A: The Beauty By Tay Team comes prepared with our own seating, lighting, makeup and cameras. We just need some room near a table and an outlet!

Q: Do you provide airbrush services?

A: We are committed to providing you with the highest quality of service, and we believe that airbrush is not the ideal method of makeup application for a flawless finish on all skin types. We use traditional makeup methods to give any and all skin types the most flawless makeup. Should you like the appearance of airbrush makeup, we are equipped with tools to give you an airbrush-like finish with traditional makeup products.

Q: Can only brides book trials?

A: No, all trials are welcome! Trial appointments are for anyone who would like to preview their makeup look prior to the day of their event.

Q: Do you only do Bridal Makeup?

A: No! The Beauty By Tay Team does all special events (proms, quinceañeras, bat mitzvahs, galas, etc.), photoshoots (engagement, maternity, editorial, high-fashion, marketing, creative collaborations, etc.), live events (face painting, runways/fashion shows, etc.) and theatrical makeup (movies, television, theater productions, body painting, fantasy makeup, and special effects "sfx"). Let us know your makeup needs!
